💙🖤 Our hearts are full as we wrapped up our New York City tour this weekend at the incredible Franklin Avenue Stoop Set Open Streets Block Party in Brooklyn!

A special thank you to @theblockassociation, @good_people_nyc, and the entire Stoop Set team for allowing the Health, Hope & Hip-Hop Foundation (HH&HH) to serve as your Wellness Partner for Summer 2026.

Shout out to the entire @stoopset team:
@marlonrice, @themreport & @carlitohaciano

We also want to thank the block association and the Brooklyn community for welcoming us into your city with open arms. The atmosphere couldn’t have been more grassroots and authentic. From the moment we arrived until the final song played, the love was tremendous.

What stood out most was that it was all love and zero issues. That’s what culture can bring when community comes together with a shared purpose.

A huge shout out to the legendary @funkflex for delivering an incredible DJ set, stopping by our booth, learning more about our mission, and showing us love. Your support means the world to us.

Thank you as well to @angieyee for taking the time to visit us. We appreciate everything you have done—and continue to do—for the culture and the community.

To everyone who stopped by our booth, learned about our mission, shared your stories, and made the Health, Hope & Hip-Hop Pledge—THANK YOU. Every conversation matters. Every pledge matters. Because at the end of the day, it’s all about Health, Hope & Hip-Hop.

And last but certainly not least, to the entire @healthhopehiphop team @nikkiduncansmith, @846627_gud, @myelomavalarie, @p.dot57 & @michellew_ivy who traveled from across the United States to represent our mission with excellence, passion, and purpose! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate each of you and how much love I have for this team. You continue to show what is possible when people come together to serve something bigger than themselves.

Brooklyn, thank you for embracing us. We can’t wait to do it again.

See you all at the next Stoop Set next month! 🙌🏾🔥

Today, we celebrate Juneteenth — a powerful reminder that freedom delayed is freedom denied.

As we honor the resilience, strength, and perseverance of our ancestors, we also recognize that the fight for equity continues. While chains may have been broken in 1865, barriers still exist today in education, economics, and healthcare.

At the Health, Hope & Hip-Hop Foundation, we believe that health equity is a civil rights issue. Far too many Black Americans continue to face disproportionate rates of cancer, heart disease, kidney disease, diabetes, and other chronic illnesses. These disparities are not accidents—they are the result of systemic inequities that must be challenged and changed.

Juneteenth reminds us that liberation is not just about freedom from oppression—it is about access to opportunity, quality healthcare, education, and the resources needed to thrive.

Through the power of Hip-Hop culture, health literacy, advocacy, and community engagement, we are committed to transforming pain into purpose and hope into action.

Today, we honor those who came before us by continuing the work they started. We celebrate our history, embrace our culture, and recommit ourselves to building healthier futures for generations to come.

It’s hard to believe it’s been almost two weeks since #ASCO2026! We’re still processing all the incredible experiences and what it means for our foundation. A huge thank you to the entire HH&HH squad for your dedication and hard work in growing our vision. From me personally, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude.

If you stopped by our booth, give us a shout out! We can’t capture all the connections and love we encountered in one post, but we’ve put together a quick 30-second glimpse that we hope tells the story. ❤️‍🔥💪🏾

🚨 Powerful moments happen when purpose meets a microphone. 🚨

At Johnson & Johnson’s Advocacy Reception during #ASCO2026, Phillip Davis aka P.dot57 shared more than music—he shared his journey.

A proud Wilmington, Delaware native, educator, hip-hop artist, and advocate, Phillip has endured 805 dialysis treatments while battling End-Stage Renal Disease.

Yet he continues to use his voice to educate, inspire, and uplift others facing chronic illness.

Then, alongside Grand G, he delivered a preview of 🎶 “The Answer”—the Hip-Hop Cancer Remission Anthem.

“This one for my people with myeloma… who graduated to remission…”

Those aren’t just bars.

They’re hope.
They’re resilience.
They’re proof that advocacy can have a beat.

Delaware showed up. Hip-Hop showed up. Health advocacy showed up.

And we’re just getting started.
