OUR WORK
Street Smarts
Healthcare disparities, like lack of access, insurance, and understanding impact Black Americans disproportionately. Improving health literacy in brown and black communities is essential to create equity and save lives.
Compared to their white counterparts, Black Americans are at generally higher risk for heart disease, cancer, stroke, asthma, influenza and pneumonia, diabetes and HIV/AIDS.

We’ve set our sights on American cities with the largest black population, where we will have the greatest impact.
From Philly, Newark, and New York City, to Chicago, Baltimore, Atlanta, and more, we’re starting a Health, Hope & Hip-Hop movement that’s set to sweep the nation. If it’s red, we aim to get there.
